Introduction to "Drum Covers Meyleys"

On YouTube you can find lots of drummers that record drumcovers. Almost all of these drummers use an acoustic drumkit. That is why I recorded a series of Drum Covers on my electronic kit. You can find those videos HERE. But these videos were published quite a few years back. Time for a more recent series!

Instead of recording more videos of individual songs, I decided to start covering medleys. I make these medleys myself and the idea is to combine four songs of a specific artist or band (however, I may add some medleys for genres in the future). My style is pop and rock, I will cover international and Dutch artists in the series.

I will start publishing in January 2023 and publish one medley per week. My aim is to do at least 20 medleys, but I may do more because I can think of lots of great artists I would like to cover. I may end up with 52 medleys by December 2023... I will include hits, but I will focus on songs that might be interesting for fellow drummers.

For each medley that I will publish, there is a story to tell. My aim is to select songs that enable me to 'showcase' the possibilities of electronic kits. When confusion may arise, I will add info at the end explaining which sounds were played on which pads.
